Waitress was awesome, didn't have to ask for anything. Ribs were cooked to perfection, rolls were soft and warm. The only thing that I would of changed, would be the chili. Should have asked for a bowl instead of a cup, it was to die for. The fries are cut fresh and are really good.
First time at Golden Rule. As a recent NC transplant, I was excited to try their barbecue and see how it differs from “ours”. It was incredible! I also tried the brisket and loved it! It’s slow cooked to tenderness and full of flavor! I saw some scrumptious desserts available too! Maybe next time. But I will definitely be back to try more of their delicious options!
Loved the food. Parking was great. The patrons were older like me and were friendly. They seemed to be regulars. I will come back to dine here again!!!

Ordered a sausage egg and cheese biscuit, it was huge and very good ! Had cheese grits that were surprisingly good since it's a BBQ place... Wifey had a breakfast plate full of food she couldn't finish and enjoyed her eggs,bologna ,grits and toast and hashbrowns!
Best BBQ, fries and sweet tea. They are not skimpy on the serving size either. The sauce is so delicious.
I got here for my Friday or Saturday breakfast plate. Eggs good Potato s good Meat good. What's not to like! Going again soon. Will I see you there? Hope so....
Mt first time ever going to Golden Rule and I have been here all my life. Shame on me. I ordered the turkey sandwich with no honey mustard, fries and banana pudding. The turkey was so flavorful and not salty at all. I absolutely LOVE fresh-cut fries and they were !!! Banana pudding was good but a little too sweet for me. But my greedy spirit would still buy it again The young lady at the cash register was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely return.
